Classic ASP on IIS 7.5

I had thrown together a website for the sole purpose of getting information out about our wedding last year- there were a bunch of photos, directions to the venue, and I also coded a simple way to RSVP online via the website. Having not yet learned enough .NET (and I still really don’t know enough) I used classic ASP with “code behind” in Script Objects. It worked fairly well…wasn’t the most ‘pretty’ website, but it worked well [enough] – and a few of our guests actually did register. It was built on an x86 Server 2003 VM (IIS6), and I had not yet imported the VM when I upgraded the Hyper-V host to 2008 R2 – and honestly didn’t really want to. Instead, I mounted the VHD, copied the website files and Script Objects, and is now running on the same server as this blog! I was a bit hesitant because I didn’t think that the Script Objects would register- coming from x86 2003 to 2008 R2 (x64). But sure enough:
